Arena introduced the iSCSI series RAID system
MaxTronic Arena proudly is going to announce the latest SS-6603E/R that includes single and redundant controller 3U 16 Bays Rackmount iSCSI
to SAS RAID Subsystem in the end of Q4, by offering high-performance, reliable, and cost effective SAS RAID solutions. With the outstanding
Snapshot, easy-to-use GUI and the comprehensive RAID features, Arena iSCSI to SATA RAID Subsystems are aiming to SAN over IP solution
which is using iSCSI protocol through internet as general applications in various environments.
| HIGHLIGHTS ‧ 4 iSCSI GbE interface (per controller) ‧ RAID Level 6, 60 support ‧ External JBOD expansion (miniSAS, SFF-8088) ‧ User-friendly web-based management ‧ UPS port support (SMART-UPS) ‧ SATA drive compatible with AA-MUX (Optional) ‧ Battery backup support (Optional) |

iSCSI Feature
‧Full hardware TOE (TCP Offload Engine).
‧Trunking solution is able to use several physical ports together to form as a single channel.
‧CHAP (Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol) authentication and Data/Header digest in LUN to ensure the entire network access' safety.
‧iSNS (Internet Storage Name Service) for easier iSCSI resource management in IP-SAN.
‧MPIO (Multiple Input/Output) solution provides data through different iSCSI channels with its load-balancing, and uses an alternate path for
continually I/O without down-time if one or more of path components fails unexpectedly.
‧Multiple target nodes (up to 8) and multiple sessions (up to 64) supported.
‧Centralization management in IP-SAN: RAIDGuard Central utility provides centralized monitoring multiple SS-6603 systems by through LAN port.
‧Built-in Snapshot & Rollback: The SS-6603 implement is a Copy-on-Write snapshot technology implemented that utilizes a small pre-designated
volume for the snapshot, known as the snapshot volume. When the snapshot is initially setup, metadata, or a table of contents, of the original
volume is copied, and thus makes the snapshot instantaneous. Before new data is written the original data is copied to the snapshot volume,
and the new data is written to the original data blocks. In the event of file corruption, accidental overwriting, or a virus infection, a rollback can
be performed to restore any remaining original data.
