The SA-6651S/4551S RAID system delivers outstanding performance for both transaction-oriented and bandwidth-hungry applications. Its superscalar CPU architecture with low-latency L2 cache enables efficient IO command processing, while its 2-way cross-bar bus streamlines large-block data transfer, easily sustaining the wire speed of 4Gb Fibre Channel port.

Storage Resource on Demand

The SA-6651S/4551S RAID system offers great flexibility in storage presentation and provisioning to enable easy sharing of storage resources and to achieve high resource utilization with appropriate configurations. By the RAID system, IT managers are also allowed to conduct tasks to reconfigure RAID attributes, like disk group expansion, RAID level migration, and stripe size migration, effective Capacity Management, dynamically align the storage resources with the business requirements. All of the management utilities are not only On-Line executable without disrupting hosts' accesses but also scheduling to run the utilities in off-peak hours so as to minimize the impact. 

User-friendly management interface

With the web-based graphic user interface (GUI), and on-line help, the users of SA-6651S/4551S RAID system can easily enjoy high productivity in storage management tasks. The administrator can also use the command line interface (CLI) either locally by the terminal console or remotely by SSH or telnet. Predefined CLI scripts can be used to set up the configurations for multiple systems at one time.
