PCIe is also becoming the dominant technology for the host computers to connect the external high-speed peripherals or for the links among high-speed computing nodes, like server blades or gird systems. The system connects to the host computer by high-speed external PCI Express cable links, it is well suited for a variety of application.

Overview

SW-2308S is an external PCIe switch pub project. It connect a single PCIe host to multiple PCIe storage devices with PCIe x8 cables to increases overall capacity and performance in throughput-intensive business such as TV broadcasting, movie/animation rendering, imaging, HD video editing and commercial computing systems.
SW-2308S 9 port switching hub is bundling 1 PCIe x8 re-drive card which is installed into host site. The re-drive card will provide drive for different operating systems.
