Yes, it can. If you are using Microsoft Initiator, you can set 4 paths (MPIO) together.
SS-6603 is planed to support JBOD SA/SS-6692J.
Currently our PCIe product can support to 8 snapshots at most.
Currently we will support up to 3 JBOD systems (SS-6692J).
Below is the procedure of Fidy II Firmware Download.
Set the COM Properties as following values:
Bits per second: 19,200
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control: Xon / Xoff
A. Turn on FIDY II and press “Esc” on the host computer keyboard. The >>>>> prompt will appear
B. Type in the command: download. And the system will restart.
C. When prompted Enter '1' to Download Firmware.
Currently we can support the following three different languages on JanusRAID II series products.
A. Traditional Chinese
B. Simplified Chinese
C. English
However, if you need it for other languages, we can provide a customization method for you to do so.
For SA-6651S if users set no global/local spare, no disk group will start rebuilding automatically. Users can set an unused disk to be a spare disk to trigger the rebuilding.
You can use Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator 2.0 or Ardis Tech iSCSI Initiator 1.16 with Mac environment.
For our iSCSI product, Microsoft iSCSI initiator Ver. 2.0 or above will be suitable for it.
Initopt can be the value of "reg, bkg, and noinit".
Currently we have 16 bays only, they called SA-6692J for SATA drives, and SS-6692J for SAS drives.
The main unit does it when the drive failed on the JBOD.
JBOD has no controller inside, only an I/O board included; the RAID unit can handles all the JBOD tasks.
It can be connected up to three JBOD units.
If you are running Windows Vista, you'll notice the iSCSI Initiator is already built into the product so that our iSCSI products can connect to it.
